Parris, DJ Python, D.K., Karima F, Jay Glass Dubs, and Yu Su remix the ambient downstrokes of Carmen Villain’s album, ’Both Lines Will Be Blue’ (2019)

Carmen’s ‘Observable Future’ is revised in a woozy, percolated UK house style by Parris, while D.K. turns the same original into a sort of humid, cinematic soundtrack cue flush with organic detail and nagging porto-trance synths. DJ Python is meanwhile responsible for a big highlight with his deep dembow house overhaul of ‘I Trust You’, and Karima F lends the EP some energy with a rolling breakbeat mix of ‘Type’, alongside the bolshy skank of Jay Glass Dubs’ take on ‘Are You For Real’, and the simmering ambient step of Yu Su’s ‘Impossible Colour’ remix
